Jason Phelps is a multi-disciplinary performer whose work has been seen in New York, Chicago, Boston, Seattle, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Burlington, Houston, and Austin. He is a five-time recipient of the Austin Critic’s Table Award for Best Actor and has performed with Zach Scott, Rude Mechs, Salvage Vanguard, Subterranean, and is a founding member of FRONTERA/HYDE PARK. He was also a founding member of MS/Nerve Dance Co. with long-time collaborator Margery Segal. As a sound designer, his work has been nominated three times from the Austin Critic’s Table. In addition to his work on stage, he is an active TV, internet, film, and voice over performer. Recent highlights include: joining the cast of The Intergalactic Nemesis, the voice of Green Lantern for DC Universe Online, performing in the Okay Mountain installation, ‘First Take’, eating really good tacos and being back in Austin.
